Belgium waffles drizzled with chocolate & red berries
Indulge in the very best of Belgium with these delicious waffles, topped with berries, chocolate & fresh cream
Ingredients
- 250g Plain Flour 
- 4 tsp baking powder 
- 1/2 tsp Salt 
- 30g caster sugar 
- 2 eggs 
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil 
- 100ml milk 
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract 
Method
- Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. 
- In a separate bowl separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites with a whisk until soft peaks form. 
- In another bowl mix together the egg yolks, milk, oil, chocolate chips and vanilla until well combined. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms. 
- Carefully fold in the egg whites until combined. 
- Cook the mixture in the waffle iron for 5 minutes. 
- Dress with your favourite toppings. We like melted chocolate, fresh berries and whipped cream.
